Senator McConnell floor remarks on pending judicial nominations

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky follows a string of procedural moves to force consideration of four nominees to federal district courts to tell the Senate that obstruction by Senate Democrats does not change the outcome of confirming any nominees to the bench, that by confirming judicial nominees the Senate will take a big step towards restoring courts to their proper roles of interpreting and applying the law based on what it says and not what a judges wish it to say.
