Barbara Hepworth sculpture restored at Leeds University

Sculpture conservator Laura Davies applies the finishing touches to Dual Form, a Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975) bronze located at the University of Leeds. Ms Davies has painstakingly used a long-forgotten chemical recipe specified by the Wakefield-born artist, rediscovered during archival research she conducted with Dr Sophie Bowness, Hepworth’s granddaughter and custodian of the Hepworth Estate.
