Israel kills Palestinian child while playing football in Gaza

GAZA, PALESTINE - OCTOBER 1: As Israeli attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip continue uninterrupted for 361 days, Israeli forces targeted a group of Palestinian children in an attack at the entrance of the Bureij Refugee Camp on Tuesday. At least one child was killed while playing football on Salah al-Din Street during the attack. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals. The killed Palestinian child was transferred to the morgue at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. The farewell of the father, who was in great pain, to his son broke hearts. Israel's onslaught against the Gaza Strip has killed more than 41,600 victims, most of them women and children, following a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, last October. Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the besieged enclave, where millions of Palestinians are displaced, facing famine and acute shortages of medical aid and other essentials.
